Okay so Chuck Knoblauch was recently subpoenaed by a congressional committe to testify about the use of steroids in baseball. Before I start my rant let me say this, the basis of what I am saying has nothing to do with the fact that Knoblauch has been out of professional baseball for 6 years, it has nothing to do with the fact that I dont care who wins the world series unless it is the team from Fulton County who cant put a real team on the field because management want s to save money and they let their most talented player since Hank Aaron go to sign with the Dodgers(Im not even talking about Andruw Jones, Im talking about Rafael Furcal).
Anyway back to the topic at hand.
Why are my tax dollars being spent to investigate steroids in baseball when we all kow nothing is going to come of it. At worse Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa, and Mark Mcgwire won't make it into the hall of fame. Whoopty Doo, in the grand schem of things who really cares? Not Me. Last time I checked America never won the war against drugs, Drunk Drivers are killing people left and right there still has not been a viable cure for AIDS(that WE know of) Some schools dont have enough textbooks, but yet we are worried about steroids. Man get a grip America leave it alone, we got bigger fish to fry. If am going to continue to pay taxes( I will I have no choice) I want my money spent wisely on something that is actually going to have an affect on my livelyhood and the success of this country...

Because everyone that wants those government hearings grew up playing baseball and now that they have the "power" they abuse it on something that has no real value. They just want to save "they're" past time, plus most issues of value are in poorer neighborhoods and we all know they dont care about fixing that.
